For venues that aren’t “all-inclusive” and only provide the space, tables, and chairs, you’ll need to find and hire vendors that fit your budget and style. However, ask if the venue has a preferred vendor list, as they may have strong partnerships with local vendors, even if they aren’t included in your package!
7. What is the timeline of my venue rental and access time?
For any venue rental contract or package, it’s essential to confirm the number of hours included and how they are allocated between setup, teardown, and the event. Ask for a typical wedding day timeline and details on the hours included in your ceremony and reception packages.

8. Will any other events be taking place on my wedding day?
Confirm during your venue tour whether any other events will be taking place at the same venue on the day of your wedding. This is sometimes common for venues who have multiple different ceremony and reception spaces at their location. Make sure to clarify whether this is something that might occur on your wedding day and how that affects your access to the space if true.
9. What amenities or inclusions come with my venue rental?
If it hasn’t already been addressed when discussing included vendors and package options, ask whether there are any additional amenities, inclusions, or perks that couples receive on their wedding day. Examples of these amenities might include a complimentary bottle of champagne while getting ready, access to private property for pictures, venue coordinators, and more!
10. Are there any accessibility issues I should know about?
When planning your wedding, it’s essential to ensure that all your guests can fully participate and enjoy the celebration. To address any accessibility needs at your venue, ask whether there are any accessibility limitations you should be aware of.
11. Can I get ready on-site?
